I have come across many FTHB courses and have even attended one myself. I found it to be boring and not very useful when just beginning my search for a home. I felt all of the information was hyper-focused on the loan products (theres a lot), insurance, what to look for in a home inspection, etc. But didn’t explain the fundamental principles around why I should buy real estate and help me make any decisions when the time came. If anything I felt like it made me more confused. This course focuses on the real estate market, the potential of each type of home purchase, what makes a SMART first home purchase, etc.
